Kaelah approached me with the desire to create a severe caning film with her partner Ludwig. After watching Ludwig top in movies of this severity for Eastern European producers, Kaelah was deeply curious about the experience. She decided to confront her fears and undergo such a caning herself, so that she could have an informed opinion about what it was like for the performers she had seen in other films.

Previously, this couple had shot a homemade film of Kaelah taking a severe 50 stroke caning, but Kaelah was not entirely satisfied with the results. She wanted to revisit the idea with a professional producer, to create a film she could be truly proud of. Together they conceived the idea of a martial arts student ready to progress to the next level of her training, about to go on a life-changing journey to study with new, stricter teachers. She chooses to participate in a final inurement practice to prove to herself and others that she had the strength of character to endure such rigorous training, and all the physical discomforts it entailed. This test is not mandatory; rather she volunteers to undertake it, for her own reasons.

As an experienced tai chi practitioner she was able to bring her physical skill and grace to the screen with a breathtaking performance that underpins her courage and self-control during the caning itself.

A powerfully performer-driven film, the most severe to be published on this site to date. Fifty full force cane strokes delivered straight from cold are not for the fainthearted. But as you will see, Kaelah is anything but.

The photo to the right was taken a few hours after the shoot, by which point the deep bruising is already visible.

We’d all been watching a lot of a certain sci-fi thriller TV show when we came up with this one. I wanted to do a takedown/interrogation scene where the interrogator did not administer the CP himself, but had lackeys to do it for him. Tom came up with the idea of the telepath who can only rip information out of his victim’s minds when they’re already in pain, and we were off.

Most of this was ad libbed, and we had great fun with it. I think the intense, D/S-y emotional interaction between Danby and the Cuckoo is almost hotter than the spanking, but you can decide for yourself. Along the way I discovered that I really, really like ziplock bondage, resisting interrogation by asking questions, playing a character who is caned while angry, and telepathic ravishment. You learn something new every day!

I wrote this film while working on my tax return a couple of years ago. It was only the second one I’d done, but I had an accountant so all I needed to do was collect the data in terms of my income and expenditure and send it to them to process. The previous year I’d left it too late, but managed to file in time regardless. Emboldened by my success, this year I left it even later.

Most of the conversation in this scene is based on fact (yes, I did lose my paper bank statements and leave it too late to order replacements, and have to reconstruct my figures for that month from other records!) At the time I found myself wishing my accountant were the sort of disciplinarian who could take me in hand and encourage me to be more organised and save myself needless stress.

Amelia’s father is hosting a dinner party, and she and Caroline have hatched a plan to swap the invited guests from boring bachelors to interesting young men. They enlist Will, one of the footmen, to deliver the new counterfeit invitations. Unfortunately Will is intercepted by governess Miss Blake before he can complete his errand, and all three are in big trouble.

Disappointed that the discipline she has administered before has clearly had no good effect, Miss Blake threatens to tell Amelia’s father about the prank and send Caroline away. The girls beg her not to tell him, but Miss Blake is adamant that such outright rebellion deserves severe punishment. She shocks the girls by telling them that instead, they will each receive twelve hard strokes of the cane from her.

Amelia’s governess Miss Blake is not much older than the two young ladies and they are used to thinking of her as a friend, but now they see another side of her. She is responsible for them and after such disgraceful disobedience she is determined to correct them, whatever it may take.

Once the girls have been disciplined, Miss Blake turns her attentions to her young cousin, Will. She was glad to be able to find him a place in the household and knows that her aunt and uncle cannot afford for him to lose his position, which is what would happen if she were to report his behaviour. She also knows that if she were discovered to be covering for him, they would both be at risk. She is therefore obliged to punish him as well, if he will accept it from his own cousin; after all, she is his elder and senior to him in position. Will knows he has erred in letting the charming young ladies draw him into their conspiracy, and submits to correction from Miss Blake in the form of six strokes of the cane.

Ever since the day I took these photos of Zille Defeu being punished in the bedroom, while I hid outside, listening and peeking like a naughty sibling trying not to be caught, I’ve wanted to make a film exploring this voyeuristic angle. I think the idea of overhearing or glimpsing a real domestic punishment is a hot button for a lot of people, especially those who really did encounter friends and neighbours being punished when they were young.

Tom was very convincingly scary as the old-fashioned guardian in this scene, and Amelia and I had a lot of fun being pouty and indignant together, and not getting away with it in the slightest. I hope you enjoy this film as much as we enjoyed making it!
